If we are talking about poetry it is incomplete without urdu. URDU POETRY have a prosperous history in the world of poetry.
Today I am going to tell about several forms of URDU POETRY
Nazm - Nazm is a significant piece of the Urdu verse, that is typically written in rhymed section and furthermore in present day exposition style sonnets. Nazm is a critical kind of Urdu verse.
Ghazal - It is a set of two liner couplets, which carefully should end with a similar rhyme and ought to be inside one of the predefined meters of ghazals. There must be at least five couplets to frame a ghazal.
Hamd - Is a poem in commendation of Allah. "Hamd" is gotten from the Qur'an, its English interpretation is "Applause".

Masnavi - Signifies "The Spiritual Couplets". The Masnavi is an idyllic assortment of accounts and stories got from the Quran, hadith sources, and ordinary stories.
Naat - Is verse in recognition of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad (S.A.W). The training is well known in South Asia.
Qasida - A commendatory, elegiac, or satiric poem in Arabic, Persian, or any of different related writings.
